About Blues Orbiters

Our band is based in the Seattle, Washington (USA) metro area. We're in our tenth year as a band, and we've just been nominated by the Washington Blues Society for "Best Band" in 2008! Previous nominations include "Best Recording" in 2006, and "Best Band" for 2003.   We play an energetic mix of blues with emphasis in West Coast and Chicago  styles. We also take some  excursions into jazz, R&B, and funk all tied together with our unique Blues Orbiters sound. Our tunes are a blend of originals and favorites from the rich blues and roots tradition.  Most of all, we have a great time playing the music we love!
